Cardan Type Conveyors are preferred where light parts need to be transported without vibration and precision. It is based on the system of moving the propeller chain in the x, y and z axes within the guide rails. There are a total of 8 bearings on one pitch of the chain, 4 of which are horizontal and vertical. The carrying pitch is in multiples of 200mm and 250mm. Cardan conveyors are protected by TORQUE LIMITER connected to the drive unit or SAFETY STOP SWITCH mounted on the back of the unit in case of any jam. The automatic lubrication unit in the system ensures the lubrication of 8 bearings in each chain pitch at the same time.
- The pitches between the chain hangers are multiples of 200 mm and 250 mm.
- Thanks to the central lubrication unit on the system, chain bearings lubricate automatically at the desired time interval.
- To protect the conveyor system, torque limiter or Safety Stop Switch are used in the drives to protect the system against jams and stresses.
- The bearings mounted on the chain are capable of operating at a temperature of 250 degrees.
